Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, my love for exploring the outdoors and the animals within at an early age. I moved to the South about ten years ago, going to Clemson University for my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. While I was there, I researched primate personality and behavior in Common Marmosets and Golden Lion Tamarins, and salamander physiology and the effect of rising temperatures on their respiratory systems. I then went on to Auburn University, earning my Masters of Education in Science Education. I have the best job in the world, I build a bridge between the students and the science content, acting as a liaison for students to feel empowered and able. I am committed to being the best academic, personal, and ethical role model I can be for my students.
